Queretaro is a beautiful historic city in central Mexico, about 3 hours north of Mexico City by car.

Closest beach is a 5-7 hours drive (not recommended). You can always fly to Cancun, Tulum, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta or any other beach city.

Queretaro during May is hot and dry, temperatures are around 25-30°C during the day, with fresher nights around 14-17°C. There is usually not lots of rain, but oh global warming.
